2014 caravan i have a solid blue light can't get it to flash blue with ignition on.

Question

i watched numerous u tube videos prior to install. and i followed instuctions. once wires are pluged in and turn ignition to on, it does not flash blue. please help

if it stays blue when you turn the key on, you never connected the two yellow wires together.

I think the module may not be flashed to the specific car software. Make sure it is.

i thought i bought it flashed, as the seller asked for specific vehicle info. how can i confirm that it is flashed or what is needed to flash it myself? thankyou for the quick response.

i only connected the y connectors. i didn't want to tap or cut into any wires.

do you want the s/n on the controller? 001A07 063123

I'll have to look again into the yellow wire tomorrow morning, does it need to be tied into a harness other than the y connectors? when i did my research on this unit, the only wires tied in where for brake lights, with options for other connections of wanted. maybe I missunderstood.
