Car starts as soon as red 6 pin is plugged then shuts off and wont program

wired evo-chrt5 as standalone with t-harness on 2014 patroit. connected 20pin as instructions say, green/red to purple on t-harness and yellow to yellow on t-harness. As soon as i plug in the red 6 pin on the evo-all the car starts then stops and leaves the ignition on and blue led flashes on evo-all and will not program

That does not make sense, either bad t-harness or damaged module.

would resetting the module fix this? if so how would i go about to reset it?
