This means the immo data light blue/black is not connected to the correct wire in the vehicle.

Is that the only possible thing it could be I am like 99% it’s hooked to the right wire the orange/brown wire in the kick panel I will double check it has a good connection tomorrow or is there a way to test the wire at the evo all plug to see if it has communication not sure if the data has power all the time or not? Also the last couple days of playing with it I have noticed that sometimes the light doesn’t go red at the end after pushing the push to start 2 times all lights just go out but it is random so maybe just a mess up of pushing buttons lol one other thing I have noticed if the evo gets bump a little the data link cable becomes loose wasn’t too concerned about that was just going to zip tie it on if I ever get it programmed. Thanks for your help!
I am having the exact same problem on 2012 kia optima. The vehicle does not have a blue data wire coming form the car.
