Having trouble programming keys. Lights stay red and blue

0 votes
I have verified wiring.

Everything seems to work well until I try to program the keys. The red and blue lights on the control module say lit. after I go through the key sequence and push the programming button on the module.

Thanks for any help.

The guide does not ask to push the programming button....

Key 1, 3 seconds, key 2, 3 seconds, key 1

The instructions for my kit clearly states that you put in key one for 3 seconds, put in key two for 3 seconds, then push in program button until car ignition starts.

I will try the way you stated and see if that works.
Your module is flashed for a F150 2014 is this the correct vehicle ?
No,

It is a 2013 Ford Focus
Is the wiring harness the same?

If so, can I leave the harness in that came with my kit and you send me the correct module?
Can anyone confirm this was fixed. Currenlty a 2018 ford fucus owner whos having the same issues
there was never an issue with programming on these. Fords/Mazda/Lincoln are just naturally a pain when it comes to using the 2 key programming method as its the oem procedure to program a spare key to the car.

aside from making sure the evo is flashed, installed and setup properly for the proper car.

- ford requires 2 master keys in order to allow spare key programming. A cloned/copied key does not work.

- timing is also crucial.

I can only suggest calling in to isolate your programming issues
