EVO-ONE Pit Stop Option? (2017 Tundra)

0 votes
While the vehicle is running, if I put it in Drive, press the keyfob's lock button 3 times, and remove the key, the vehicle remains running.  If I exit the vehicle and attempt to lock it by pressing the lock button on the fob, the vehicle does not lock.  Is this "pit-stop" mode even supported on EVO-ONE?  And if so, how can I lock the vehicle whlie it's running without a key in the ignition?

Once you exit the vehicle, when you press lock does the blue led on the module flash?

No, it does not flash.

However, when I remove the key from the ignition and stay inside the vehicle (not open the door), the blue lights DO flash when the fob key buttons are pressed.  But as soon as I open and close the door, the blue lights DO NOT flash when the fob buttons are pressed.
So door status is making the module ignore the OEM remote.

Does the relay for the sil data cut stay open once you open and close the door after enabling pit stop mode?
I'm not sure--I would have to take apart the car again to check.  Is there a setting I can toggle to enable DOOR LOCK after exiting vehicle while in pit-stop mode?
Such a setting does not exist.
My 2013 does the same thing. If I try to lock it using the fob after I get out, it doesn't work. If I try to hit the lock button on the door with the door open, it immediately unlocks. It's not completely ignoring the fob after the doors have been opened, because in pit stop mode I can press and hold lock or press it 3x and the truck will shut off... the headlights stay on in this case though. It seems like pit stop mode is just buggy programming right now...
