Bcm wiring nissan altima

+2 votes
Reading the installing manual for the Fortin Evo All. The instructions say that on the BCM behind the instrument cluster pins 15 and 37 should be empty. When I unplugged the green connector there was a blue/red wire for pin 15, and a black and blue wire in pim 37. Should I tap into these wires?

Sorry forgot to include that. 2012 altima 2.5s
Are you doing 3x lock to start with your oem remote? If so then you don't need these connections...

If using an RF kit or additional remote starter then you will want  to make these connections...

Test the wires in pin's 15 and 37...They should pulse negative when lock and unlock is activated. I have seen before when the wires are present they were those colors as well ...but dont rely on wire color always go by pin location....Either way test the wires and it will show you what they are....Don't forget unlock requires a double pulse...
I have ordered an RF kit to add on so I can extend the remote start range.
ok then yeah you will need this connections...simply test the wires it will show you what they are :)
