No Crank with remote start

0 votes
Hello, installed a remote starter in a 2005 buick allure. prostart ct-3471 tw and fortin Int-sl+. Used wire color and autostart wiring color guides. Used fortin int-sl+ schematic 1. Had unit start once with remote starter. Tried again, have not been able to start since with remote starter, still starts with key. when using remote, dash lights quickly light up, and then go out, does not crank. tried reprogramming int-sl+, loaded newest software v3.06. I am out of ideas. This vehicle was previously equipped with factory remote starter, noticed yellow ignition wire in ignition harness is +12v pulse, will not stay pos for duration of cranking.  Please, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, MIke Unger.

Hi Michael,

The yellow wire is an input, not an output. Make sure it is wired the remote starter ignition output. There should be 12V on their with ignition On and during crank.

Thanks for the reply, Robert. I found that I had to change remote starter to fortin bypass communication and that resolved my issue. Thanks, Mike.
Glad you got it all up and running. Thanks for the reply!
