INT-SL+ not programming on Chrysler

0 votes
Hi,

I purchased a INT-SL+ to install with my Evo-One on my 2003 Chrysler 300m since it needs a compatible bypass. I connected everything and the remote start works but it shuts down almost instantly after starting due to not detecting the transponder. When I program the INT-SL+, it flashed 2 times then turn off (I tried letting it sit for 60 seconds like it says in the guide). It seems like it doesn't bypass the transponder since I can start the car remotely if my key is in the cylinder, even in the off position, as long as the key is there. The bypass unit has power, led turns on when programming and seems to program, but it doesn't work.

Hello,

Are you using the data link between the 2 units are are you wire to wire? If im not mistaken the int-sl+ needs to be connected wire to wire with the evo-one and not in data link.

Best regards.

Wire to wire since the only thing provided by the bypass in that vehicle is the transponder bypass. Do I need to connect the unlock, lock, door trigger and while running wires etc. since the bypass doesn't provide any other functionality for that car ?
No I wouldnt think so, the main important one would be the ground while running and starter (if applicable).

When you remote start it does the led on the int-sl+ turn on?
No it doesn't. I didn't wire the ground while running though maybe that's it ... I'll try it this weekend and see if that does it.

thanks
