How to program replacement RM442 fob to BF3400/2400 evo all

Question

I bought a replacement RM442 key fob for my BF3400/2400 evo all bypass module, evo-all vr.2.4.18. Service No: 002B03 009304.

I am having trouble finding a guide on how to start the programming process of the new fob. I've tried turning it on, then off, then on, but when I do that the led on the antenna goes out. I've seen many videos but cant tell which is the right guide. Any help would be appreciated.

Being an older module, you will have to follow the older remote programming method using the the valet button.

Also, if you antenna LED is always ON when the key is OFF, that means your remote starter unit is in valet mode. To take it out of valet mode, turn ignition On then press the valet button 3 times.
