2013 ram pts will not program.

stand alone option turned on

flash manager at the lateest software level

 when trying to program i get to step 6 and it never changes lights. ign turns on. i have checked all my connections and have good connections on all my wires. i did have problems programing. first when i pressed flash it went to 100% but never returned to the main screen and keeps the loading icon on. i would have to unplug the module to get back to main screen. also if i pressed options i would get a message stating "no supported by this module" then shows module disconnected. i think i may have have a bad module.

This is actually normal. I honestly don't know why, but engineering wants people to disconnect the unit after the flash is done, even if you need to go change some options.

You have a Hardware 2 module. This is the number 1 reason why you cannot program the unit and that you cannot access the options menu. EVO Options and Standalone only came out at hardware 3. We have been shipping hardware 6 for about a year now to all our distributors.

 

Get that module changed and all problems will be fixed.
