Truck shuts off after pressing push start button

Question

When using the remote start the truck turns over fine, but when pressing the push-start button nothing happens and as soon as I touch the breaks to change gears it shuts off.

I am having the same problem with my 2019 Ram 1500.  It is not the classic model and is push to start only.  I have tried programming the module several different ways with no luck.  When I use the remote start, I push the "push to start" once and nothing happens.  You are suppose to push the button once and then be able to push the brake, shift gears and drive off.
