red 6 pin connector relay

Question

I would like to know if it's possible to use the internal relays on the red 6 pin connector as an option to turn on the rear defogger in my 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid, and could someone please give me a location and wire(s) that I can tap into to make this option work.

I am using a DEI SmartStart asmc200, all other options are working fine through the Android app and the smartstart has an option for 2 aux outputs, so I would like to use one and send it through the evo-all to the red 6 pin connector and use one of the contacts to turn on my rear defogger when the remote start is running.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can't use the 6-pin connector. Only the EVO-ALL firmware has control of those relays since they are needed (either both or just one) in some vehicles to actually start the car.

 

You would need a DEI remote starter for those AUX options. With this setup, the SmartStart would control the DEI starter (which has AUX options), and the EVO-ALL would only be used as an interface module for transponder bypass and CAN-BUS integration.
