2020 Honda HRV - Stuck on Flashing Red Light

Hello,

I am trying to install the Fortin Evo-One into a 2020 Honda HRV (standard key), however I am unable to get past step 5 of the programming process. When I go to program the Evo-One, I am able to get to the blue/red blinking light step, however once I turn the key to ignition position the Evo-One blinks red. I am using the EVO-ONE-HON2 T-harness. I have tried the "FAQ: RED LED STUCK ON" method mentioned in another post, but unfortunately that did not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looking at the service number it appears to be flashed properly.

I would first start with a master reset, this is done in the vehilce: https://cdn.fortin.ca/en/download/61931/61931.pdf Being an evo-one you would hold the button down and plug in the main 6 pin connector. Do not forget to re enable the bypass options once the reset is done.

Once the master reset is done re attempt the in vehicle programming.

If it still does not program I would un plug and re plug all of the t-harness connectors and the re attempt programming again.

Good and bad news. Good news, I was able to complete steps 5, 6, 7 and 8 without issue. Bad news, when I plug the unit back in and try to remote start, the engine will crank but does not start. I am able to start it fine with the key. Any ideas for this one? I loaded the suggested options in the Flashlink manager, so I believe all configurations are OK.

Reset it again and re program it in the vehicle again.
