2011 Silverado EVO-ALL, THAR-GM4, RF642W, remotes don't work

0 votes
Programming the EVO and setting the remotes to the antenna seems to work properly. I get confirmation that the command is received when I press any of the remote buttons. However, nothing actually happens. Am I missing something in a setting, or do I have the harness hooked up wrong? The wiring guides aren't totally clear on how the RFA2A is supposed to be wired in. There are two connectors that could possibly go into the EVO-ALL. One is straight from the T-Harness, and one is on the RFA2A harness. Tracing the wires, it appears that either one could work.

I am programming this in standalone. My truck does not have OEM remotes, and I only have a single key.

For future internet researchers... what I ended up doing was resetting everything back to factory defaults and going through the steps one-by-one again. Including decrypting the factory keys and programming the new fobs to the system.

After redoing everything, it worked.
