2014 Tundra wont crank EVO-ONE with harness 3X lock

+1 vote

Purchased pre-flashed and tested. The EVO-ONE programs correctly and blue LED flashes when key lock pressed. On third press a click from the EVO and red LED comes on. Second click from the EVO after about one second of the red LED illuminating and then nothing. No further LED's no crank attempt. I have verified continuity on all connected wires from origination to EVO connection harness. I have also verified correct outputs from EVO t-harness to correct ignition wire per the 2.4 programmable output options the EVO is programmed to and at this point completely out of ideas. I appreciate any insight.

Thanks

The module should give you parking light flashes when it doesn't start. Count how many flash you see on the vehicle.

Did not connect the parking lights. Can if i need to but trying to avoid it.
Most likely because the vehicle does not have a factory hood pin and vehicles data network sends out the same can codes as if the hood were open. The EVO see's a hood open status and stops remote start attempts.

Anyway, only way to diagnos at the moment is with the parking light flashes.
Finally got a chane to hook up parking lights. 5 flashes when trying to start and that looks to be the lack of hood pin like you mentioned. Any way around that? Thanks again!

Please turn OFF option A11 in the BYPASS SIDE (Hood Trigger) and test.

I agree, turn off A11.  (It is still on.)
