Why do I get a 'Lights on' indicator when entering the car?

I just installed an EVO-ALL with CHRT6 harness in a 2013 Dodge Journey wih Push-to-Start. Everything works fine except for that whenever I open the drivers door to get in the car, whether I started it with the 3x or not, I get a warning on the dash indicating that I left my lights on. It does not matter if I have the lights in the off position or in Auto mode. Once I close the door, the indicator goes away. When I exit the car, I do not receive this message. Has anyone seen this before?

My service # is 001A06 348641.

The remote starter is powering the parking light circuit so it is normal that the car detect lights on when the car is running on remote start.

Make sure you have used the green/red wire to power the parking light
