FAQ - How To Disable OEM Alarm on Ford/Lincoln 2010+ Vehicles

0 votes
To disarm the OEM alarm, you need to pulse ignition, accessory and activate the transponder bypass at the same time that the unlock signal sent from the remote starter. The accessory is not required on all models and requires that you test  with and without that connection.

Parts required:
   1 x Automotive Universal Relay
   3 x 1Amp Diodes
1 x 1Amp Diode (Optional for triggering ACC if needed)
   1 x 1 Foot of Wire

1) Connect the (-)Disarm and (-)Ground While Running coming from the Remote Starter to the Ground While Running to the EVO-Bypass and to Pin #86 on the relay. Use 2 diodes to isolate the two connections. The diodes should have the band side facing towards the Remote Starter.

2) Connect a (+)12 Volt Constant to Pin #87 and Pin #85

3) Connect One diode to Ignition (also connect a Second diode to ACC if the vehicle needs it) with the band facing away from the relay to pin #30.
