Why is my light staying blue when i install the input wire for input B on EVO-ALL (AUDI)

This is probably my 5th evo install. My first time for an older car.. I have a 2008 Audi A4. I purchased the Evo All for the remote starter install. I used install guide 85651... first thing i did was the software download. In the software download only thing I edited was i turned on Standalone function, which was off. Once i did the original download.... next was the wiring. I did everything that was in the guide for without data link: san data link... so, once I plugged the plug in plug B. then the rest of the plugs. It just turned Blue. There was no Blue, Red, Yellow and Blue & Red LEDs will alternatively illuminate. But with the blue light lit... I hit the remote.. it did everything like it was going to start the vehicle. Locked the door. Then I heard clicking coming from module like it was going to start but it didn't.. any suggestions. Your help will be appreciated.

Hello,

What is the S/N number on the back of the module?

What brand remote starter are you using with the evo-all?

Thank you.

SN:001A07 666717. I'm not using a remote starter... I thought the evo All, I can use as a standalone to use with my Oem remote...
Depending on the vehicle yes. On a 2008 Audi A4 standard key, No.

You would need an evo-one along with an rf kit. Remote start from oem remote is not supported on this vehicle.

Also please note key sacrifice is required for remote start to function.

Ok, that would explain it. I'll go to the site to purchase a rf kit.. thank you...
For that vehicle you would need the following parts for remote start:

1- evo-one-942 or evo-one-442 or evo-one-441

2- flash link updater (if you already have one you do not need a 2nd)

3- 1x vehicle key
