2013 Impala won't turn over after locking

0 votes
Installed an Evo0all, stand alone starter into my 2013 Impala. Programming was completed correctly and verified key decrpyt. Verified that 3x lock is being used for the remote start and that remote start is toggled on. When I send the start signal, unit has all three lights engage. My MIL comes on and the car does not turn over.

I have not installed the hood latch wire as it appears to have a factory hood latch system. What would be preventing the vehicle from turning over?

First I would turn OFF E2, this is not needed.
Also when testing make sure you have the hood closed when testing remote start.

If the vehicle still does not start look at your parking lights, (if you wired them in that is) as the evo will flash an error code telling you why it isnt starting. (If they werent connected take a test light or multi meter and prob the output and count how many flashes you get.

It sounds like your V DATA wire is not connected to the right vehicle. Please test the wire you connected to and post the voltages at the different key positions.

Thank you,
