Evo-all key wrap question Audi

Question

May be a silly questoin, but it's not clear to me in the instructions.

The 2 wires for the key wrap, do they get buttspliced together, then wrapped around the key and the key detector? Or does one wrap around the key, and the other wrap around the detector? The pictures seems to show them connected, but doesn't mention splicing them in the instructions.

Out of module, rap around key, same wire continue and rap around keyport than back to module. It's a closed loop.
