2015 Malibu Remote Start from Factory Remote

Question

The car will not start when trying from the factory by pressing the lock button 3 times, however, when pressing the lock button five times, it work everytime. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

You are probably pressing it too fast, you must press lock once every second. Everytime the EVO module will catch the command it will flash blue once. If you press lock and the module doesnt see the command, it will not flash.
