Hi i want to know How to shuttdown engine after remote start in malibu 2013

i have evo all with tharness

If you press the brake after remote starting, the vehicle will shut down.

What is the issue exactly and what is the 12 digit service number on the EVO-ALL ?

Hi Mohamed,

 

Unfortunately you cannnot shut down the vehicle via oem remote control because the oem remotes do not function anymore once the vehicle is running,

You have 2 options,

1. You install an aftermarket RF kit (antenna and remotes) to be able to control doorlocks and start and stop regardless if the vehicle is running or not.

2. You will need to manually unlock the door and get in and put the oem in into the IGN/run position and step on the brake pedal to shutdown and do "takeover"

 

Lock-Unlock-Lock is option D 1.1 (but will not shut down your remotestarter)

From what I can find online, the oem remote starter does allow you to shut down remotely but only lets you remote start 2 times in a row, after that you will need to physically start the vehicle with the key to reset.

the factory remote starter only allows 2 remote starts and I believe the vehicle also shuts down when you open a door.

We do not want to replicate this because it would mean that every other install done normally with aftermarket remotes would only allow 2 remote starts and the car would shut down when openeing a door.

We do not list 3xLock Start as compatible with this car even though it would work to start it, but not stop it. At that point, if a technician or someone does do a 3xlock start install, he will be limited in functionality.

No. When remote started using 3x lock the remote no longer functions while the car is running with either evo-all or evo-one.
