HELP Nissan Altima 2013 Push Start

0 votes

I ordered Nist4 with Evo all for a Nissan Altima 2013 Push Start. Its a plug and play on the BCM behind the cluster. Everything went fine with programming, but when I try to start the car while I am inside with press brake and push button to start gives me error i-key start error, the engine ticks no turn over.

When I am outside to remote strt 3xLock, it starts!! but inside using the normal car starting keyfob it doesn’t? I decrypted the module twice and also and sometimes it ticks no start. I programed it to car twice everything went well, all the flashing when I was programming went exactly per book, help please??

- Option D6 is on

- ignition turns on but error message i-key error refer to user manual

- car ticks when I press brake and push start, but no start and error message i-key error refer to user manual

- sometimes with remote start 3xlock the car starts sometimes it just ticks like I am inside the car

- SN: 001A07 119247 EVO-ALL

Here's a couple of things to look into.

- Go over every connector and make sure they are fully seated and that no pins are bent etc.

- turn off option G in the unit then try again.

- Also, that install requires that you actually cut on the T-harness plugs off and connect power-ground straight the car wiring.

Yes thats exactly what I did, I cut the wires and conect them. I followed whats in the instlation. In fact I took everything out and then try to start the car and it starts normally, when I installed evo-all back with T-harness again it has same problem, all connecters are seats properly. Option G is off.

When I scan the car the BCM gives me the codes (only whenI plug Evo with harness):

B2603-00

B2604-00

B2605-00

B210F-00

Now I am in same problem?

How to proceed?
start by replacing the t-harness itself unless you want to check / test for continuity of every single wire, in every single connector to locate the fault.
I cant do that. But the remote starter sometimes work from outside, dosent that indicate that the wires do not have cut in the T-Harness?

Now how do I change it, to call fortin?
Contact your place of purchase for replacement.
So to confirm, you leave the oem white plug in the BCM, cut off the whole white connector on the T harness and just splice in the power to white and ground to black T-harness wires into oem wiring? Installing for my girlfriend for xmas, I've done car wiring before I'd just rather make sure I have the right idea going into it.

Thanks!
Correct, cut off the connector on the t-harness, there is only 2 wires going there. Red and Black. Connect those two wires to power and ground.
