2009 Impala autostart

+1 vote
I am new to the product and need to know what i need to install a standalone auto starter on a 09 Imapla.  It seems that I would need an Evo-all + an eternal autostart module.  They also show the Evo-one but it isn't the recommended unit.  The info seems vague but maybe I'm just not used to the website.  Any help is appreciated.

Hi Jamie, the EVO-ONE may not show up as recommended since we removed it from recommended for the sole reason that that this product is exclusive to remote start retailers. There are also many cases where the EVO-ALL can be used as a stand alone starter.

On the 2009 Impala, you have a few choices as to what and how to install. The EVO-ALL is listed as 3x Lock Start compatible, meaning it can work on its own as a stand alone remote starter since the vehicle is low current. You would be able to set it's options to function with the oem remote by pressing 3x Lock or by using an external RF-KIT.

You could also use the EVO-ALL with a separate remote starter main unit.

When the EVO-ALL is listed as 3x Lock compatible, there will also be an installation guide named STAND ALONE EVO-LL & Car Make.
